Description
*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.
Pet-friendly - Large Deck - Walking Distance to the Beach
Old Tahoe Charm is sold here! As you pull up to the cabin, one may notice the towering pines perfectly shading the newly rebuilt deck. The living area has been upgraded with hickory hardwood flooring, flat-screen television with cable TV, WIFI, and a gas fireplace. The kitchen, while quaint, includes all of the necessary essentials; an oven with a smooth-surface cooktop, countertop microwave, 12-cup coffee maker, toaster, and stainless steel fridge. Please note: There is no washer/dryer or dishwasher in the unit. It is also a cabin, it will have ample lamps and lighting but some rooms are less lit than others. It's a mountain cabin that is easy to enjoy!
This home comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults but can accommodate 6 if needed with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over two floors, plus a walk-through loft leading to the upstairs bedroom. On the main floor, the first bedroom is outfitted with a BRAND NEW (as of February 1st, 2022) Queen bed with a plush pillowtop mattress allowing travelers all the comforts of home, but surrounded by the nature you traveled here for. Up the stairs, you’ll find a great loft-style area for the youngins with a trundle bed and a full futon that folds out to accommodate all sorts of traveling groups. The futon is really intended to be used as overflow sleeping and is best suited for a child in most cases. Before entering the second bedroom, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom awaits making it easy to be shared by guests sleeping in the upstairs bedroom or the loft alike. Beyond, the second bedroom has yet another BRAND NEW (Feb. 2022) plush Queen bed and private access to the backyard via a balcony staircase.
This cabin is situated less than a mile from the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area, which boasts 2.7 miles of public lake access, a sheltered boat launching facility, and picnic facilities, as well as kayak and SUP rentals straight from the lake's shore in the summer months. At the end of the street, you'll find the North Tahoe Regional Park with tons of hiking, and biking, as well as a disc golf course in the summer, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing in the winter. When staying at this home you're less than 10 miles from Northstar and about 15 miles from Palisades Tahoe for world-class skiing.
