Homewood Mountain Resort
Homewood Mountain Resort has confirmed it will not open for the 2024-25 ski season due to financial challenges stemming from delays in the approval of critical infrastructure updates. The resort has been operating at a financial deficit while awaiting approvals for revisions to its Master Plan, including relocating the gondola terminal to enhance skier access and reduce building density. Despite ongoing collaboration with community groups and local agencies, the approval process has been slowed by opposition and hypothetical concerns, leading to the withdrawal of financial support from a key partner. The resort remains committed to its redevelopment vision and hopes to secure the necessary approvals to resume operations in future seasons.
